Meet the Director
Hi, my name is Yolanda Banks, and I'm the proud founder and director of Bright Morning Star Academy, an in-home childcare built on love, learning, and trust. With a deep passion for helping to develop little minds, I've created a safe and nurturing space where children can explore and thrive just like they would in their own home. I have over 20 years of experience building bright stars. I am a licensed provider, along with training/certifications in CPR/FIRST Aid, Early Childhood Education, etc. I believe that every child deserves a strong foundation, emotionally, socially, and academically. That's why I focus on a well-balanced day filled with hands-on learning, positive routines, creative play, and lots of love. As a mother, caregiver, and educator, I value strong relations with families. Here at Bright Morning Stars Academy, your child is more than just enrolled-they're part of a family. Educators who are dedicated, compassionate, nurturing, and experienced with childcare. Our staff is certified in CPR and First Aid, along with being trained in child development. Here at Bright Morning Stars Academy, we work together as a family by treating your children as if they were our own, because once your child steps through our door, we don't just care for your children-we help them reach for the stars.
